Trump pushes open shipping lanes in Asia

DA NANG – US President Donald Trump yesterday called for “respect for the rule of law” and individual rights,
freedom of navigation and overflight – including open shipping lanes – as he addressed threats to global security.
“The United States has been reminded time and time again in recent years that economic security is not merely related to national security.
Economic security is national security. It is vital… to our national strength,” Trump said during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation-Chief Executive Officers (APEC-CEO) Summit here.

Trillanes pushes ‘shabu’ shipment probe

ICTSI Agrees to Buy 34.8 Pct Share in Manila North Harbour

ICTSI is paying a total consideration of PHP 1.75 billion (USD 34.5 million) in cash for the MNHPI’s
outstanding shares. The purchase price would be paid on closing date which is on October 30, 2017.

“The transaction will allow ICTSI to contribute its experience, expertise and state-of the-art technology
and infrastructure to enhance the operational efficiency of the domestic terminal in the Port of
Manila and improve the traffic condition in Metro Manila,” ICTSI said in a stock exchange filing.

2. Original Copy of EIR OUT (Laden) & EIR IN (Empty Return).
➢ We do not accept Affidavit of Loss for lost EIR. If EIR OUT is lost, you could ask for a reprinted copy at the port of discharge. If EIR IN, you could get a certified true copy from where you returned the container.

3. Original Copy of Acknowledgment Receipt.
➢ Acknowledgment Receipt should not be tampered. If tampered, we would not accept it.
➢ Penalty for Lost Acknowledgment Receipt: Php 1,500.00

4. Original Copy of Debit Note.

5. Clear photocopy of Master BL.

Philippine Bureau of Customs implemented Electronic Submission of Manifest (E2M) at least 12 hours before vessel arrival. Penalty of PHP 20,000.00 ($500) to PHP30,000 ($750.00) is imposed for all late manifest.

To avoid the penalty, please send us complete shipping documents at least 2 days before vessel ETA.

Kindly monitor E2M lodgement from time to time base on vessel arrival details.
